Digital/Social Media Coordinator Background/Skills Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or related field
- Experience with MS Office core suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of Photoshop, WordPress website structure, technology platforms
- Strong photography, videography skills and writing skills; video is a MUST
- Interested in analytics, metrics, and KPIs
- Preferably but not required, knowledge of the inbound methodology, journey mapping, persona development;

Digital/Social Media Coordinator Key Responsibilities:
- Grow audience and engage followers through social media channels
- Work with clients to service their needs and manage their expectations
- Write and edit content for marketing communication materials including print and electronic communication
- Update social media sites daily, leveraging social media tools to streamline your day
- Create videos that convert prospects to customers
- Report on the team’s work with Google Analytics and other tracking tools to utilize HootSuite, Buffer, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn Ads and Google analytics to optimize campaigns and grow networks.
- Potentially provide on-site social support at key Client and third-party events.
- Understanding of social data, including the systems and processes used to generate and manipulate it by media type, platform, paid, and organic.
- Speed is of the essence in Social – candidate expected to manage the pressure of real time content needs that may come up to support our business and marketing imperatives
- Assist in the management of the social media editorial calendar, ensuring it’s always up-to-date and leveraging the larger marketing and major branded moments calendar, helping to amplify brand initiatives throughout the year
- Collaborate across multiple teams driving successful event, content, and audience nurturing programs
- Highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers
- Assist with other agency projects
- Assist with managing vendor relationships
- Create and upload content into WordPress websites
- Familiar with planning and has experience in implementing digital campaigns (advertising and social media)
- Analyze client’s and their key competitor’s performance in social channels, track key performance indicators and recommend strategic and tactical improvements
- Provide on-going data and recommendations on the future of social media including but not limited to, consumer trends, new social media platforms and management tools.
- Identify, recruit and build strong relationships with social influencers and brand ambassadors through creative partnerships, seeding programs
- Develops and writes reports, capturing thoughts well on paper and succinctly
- Provides support in preparation of presentations and reports

- Has client contact for executional matters, including day-to-day project status and scheduling of meetings
- Resolves conflicts and differences in a calm, professional and polite manner
Financial: Fills out time sheets every day
